Inge performs on fiddle, viola, mandolin and guitar as well as vocals. She was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica and moved to Dallas, Texas. Half a year later she met Jim Wood and began a relationship, subsequently moving to Nashville, Tennessee .
She studied classical piano through her teen years but after a year of playing rhythm guitar with Jim, she started playing tenor guitar. She loved the hard driving backbeat of contest-style accompaniment and started fiddling in order to play lead for a change.
Inge teaches private music lessons along side husband Jim Wood at their home studio near Shelbyville, TN and plays in a variety of musical ensembles. She hosts an old-time and gospel music jam in Tullahoma, Tennessee where people come together to play and sing. She also leads the music at the contradance in Flat Creek, Tennessee.
